The single recorded during the recent ''Virtual Climax Recording'' sessions was originally set to be apart of the 6 track EP released May 25th. NK felt the track could use some more tinkering, and decided to delay it's release, in order to add new elements and tones, meant to create more of a festival like atmosphere.
Pulling inspiration from his first EDC experience, "Are You Ready?" begins with the classic auto-filter resembling the sounds you first hear when walking through the doors to your favorite underground club or the distant booming as you slowly inch your way to the festival gates. Soon, the filter breaks way, asking the question are you ready, leading us through the gates and into a electro fusion , neck breaking, texturely glitchy, electro-house-rock classic.
Much like his inspirations JUSTICE, MSTRKRFT and most of the Ed Banger in-house roster, NK is on a mission to revive the key elements of the electro and rock genre, that has since been forgotten. Expertly taking cues from these artists and fusing modern technical elements including heavy drops, claps, risers and sidechain-wave tables, "Are You Ready?" is the end-of-summer festival anthem of a new era in electro.

"Are You Ready?'' is available everywhere digitally August 9th courtesy of XAR Records, and be on the lookout for updates on the next NKRIOT EP set for release in the Spring of 2019.
